Welcome to the Cheval Women's Club Website
The Cheval Women’s Club INC., is a finely tuned machine run by women who are fun-loving, caring and concerned about their community. The Club is governed by a set of By-Laws and an Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The Cheval Women's Club is a Florida Not for Profit
corporation determined to be tax exempt under (IRC) section 501(c)(3) we are further classified as a public charity 509(a)(2). There are various committees in which the members have an opportunity to serve. All women from the Cheval Golf & Country Club Community are invited and encouraged to join the Cheval Women’s Club.
What We Do
The members participate in monthly dinner/meetings where each month a theme is celebrated along with an activity or an appropriate speaker that is of interest to women, also each meeting we are working on funding for our chosen charities. The following groups are autonomous from the Cheval Women's Club. No sponsorships exists between the groups and CWC. INC. They do not contribute any receipts to CWC. Inc. and CWC. Inc., does not provide any funds to these groups .
The break-out groups are members of CWC that share common interest and enjoy fellowship: Lunch
Bunch, Diva's Dine Out, Networking, Book Group, and Mah Jongg. On Occasion they may announce functions on the CWC Web Site, under Courtesy Event Postings.
The Cheval Women’s Club, INC. raises money for various charities including a toy drive at Christmas. The charities sponsored by the Cheval Women’s Club for the 2013-2014 season are: Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Meals on Wheels. The charities sponsored by CWC for the 2014 to 2015 season are:
Special Operations Warrior Foundation of Tampa Bay, Florida Diabetes Camp, Tampa Bay, and Animeals Program of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The charities chosen for the 2015-2016 fiscal year are Operation Helping Hand Tampa Bay, Paws for Patriots Program of the Southeastern Guide Dog organization and Pink Dragon Ladies of Tampa Bay (Cancer Survivors). The chosen charities for 2016 to 2017 are Operation Helping Hand Tampa Bay, Paws for Patriots a Program of the Southeastern Guide Dog Organization and Joshua House (Lutz location Specific)
The Chosen Charities for the 2017 to 2018 fiscal year are the following: Operation Helping Hand, Paws for Patriots and Joshua House (Lutz Location Specific) the charities were so popular with our organization they were chosen again this year.
